Some NPower Beneficiaries who are currently receiving training (NPower Non-graduate category) in the camp were not paid the 40,000 they were supposed to be paid in camp.
This was because they were not present in the camp when the NPower officials made the payment.
As there was no notice given to them before the payment, it was mostly those who are in the hostel who got the money. those who come to camp from town did not receive the money.
When those who did not receive the pay complained to the officials on ground, they told that the officials who are in charge of the payment have gone to Kano.
After some days the NPower officials told them that they did not see their list and they will pay them fifteen (15,000) thousand instead.
The NPower beneficiaries were annoyed and they protested.
