Hisbah warns radio station to stop using ‘Black Friday’ for Sales and Promo in Kano State.

Black Friday is usually a day after the fourth Thursday of November. It’s usually a day in which stores around the world sell their products at a discounted price.

Hisbah, a security outfit in Kano which enforces the Islamic Sharia Law in Kano State, wrote a letter to the Manager of Cool FM, informing them to stop calling the day Black Friday as most of the inhabitants of Kano State are Muslim and consider Friday as a holy day.
