Ademola Lookman was not included in the 28 Man Squad that will represent Nigeria in the African Cup of Nations (AFCON).
According to the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF), Ademola Lookman who currently plays for Leicester City was not included in the squad because he has not been cleared by FIFA.

He has not been cleared by the world governing football body FIFA to represent Nigeria at the international level.
NFF made this known through their social media platforms earlier today. They confirmed that his name was included in the initial provisional list with the belief that he might be cleared by FIFA before the commencement of AFCON.
Ademola Lookman who played for U19 and U21 for England is switching international allegiance to Nigeria and he is waiting for clearance from the world football body before he can do so.

NFF debunked the rumors making rounds that he was axed out of the squad by the Super Eagle Interim Coach Austin Eguavoen.
